Technical Support from Marplat
Marplat takes a very serious approach to technical support. If you are out in the field and run into a technical problem, call us immediately. Our number is 516-333-9292 – press 5 from the automated menu. If for any reason you cannot reach a live person, choose extension 262 from our directory. Cindy Leykum, our training coordinator is also our technical liason. She will take all of your information and either one of our technicians or a technician from the manufacturer will contact you as soon as possible.
Things you can do to make a support call go faster:
- Have the product make, model and serial number handy to give to us. We are required by all the manufacturers we represent to record this information.
- Have the site address available as well, in case we are needed to join you in the field.
- Make sure that you have the product manual and proper tools on the site with you.
- This is extremely important. For example, if you are having a GAS supply issue and do not have a manometer on site, there is little we can do to assist.
- If you have a camera on your phone, take pictures from multiple angles and email them to support@marplat.com.
- If we can see what you are looking at, we have a better chance to help you that much quicker.
Remember, the more information you can provide us, the more we can help, so take notes of what you experience.
